Wearing a simple outfit today, I had to go to college and actually should write two assignments right now. Yes, I use my blog as a tool not to study but after publishing this post I really have to do something!
ps. this week I’m doing a no-bread-week to try to come up with great alternatives for bread as I’m, just like a lot of other dutchies, a totally addicted bread-eater. You can follow my breakfasts and lunches on instagram but I’ll write a post about it here at the end of the week! Also, if you have some suggestions for breakfast and lunch (especially lunch-to-go!), please let me know!
Summer weather has arrived! Only for a few days though, but enough reason to grab my all-time favourite summer dress out of the closet. This dress is from the H&M garden collection 2010 and I still love it. My friends make a lot of fun of me as I’m wearing this dress 75% of the time during the summer. I even bought a second one on ebay!
By the way, it has been a while since the last outfit photo. This one is taken just outside my house but I don’t feel really comfortable (yes, even after a few years I still don’t think modelling is my destiny) as the street is quite busy. Well, maybe I’ll get over it. Do you like to see more outfit posts?
Something I can’t resist is a cute collar popping out under a sweater or shirt. So when I saw this collar at COS a few weeks ago I knew it would be a perfect addition to my wardrobe. A like the scallop shape and I also prefer these kind of collars over ‘just the collar’ as you can also see the buttons and I think it fits better. Well overall, I think collars are the perfect addition to an outfit!
And for those who noticed, my hair didn’t grow immensely since you saw me last. Just before new years, I ordered these clip in extensions after hearing so much good stories about them. I haven’t worn them much though as I find them quite heavy (obviously, I’ve got 120g extra weight hanging on my head haha) and although I’m happy with the colour as I think it matches my own very well, the extensions doesn’t blend that well with my own hair. My hair is quite dry on the end due to too many dyings, which results in some fluffy points. But you can’t really see it in a braid so I wear the extensions once in a while this way!
This dress was a present for my birthday last year but I didn’t wear it that much, too much ‘things’ were going on. So I removed the pompoms which makes it much better I think. Now I have to go!
ps. I’m thinking about asking a new lens for my camera for Christmas / my birthday. Do you have any suggestions? I was thinking about the sigma f1.8 30mm but I read some good things about the canon f1.8 28mm as well. Would love to hear if you have any experience with one of these (or another one in this price categorie)!
