We had so much luck with the incredibly good weather! The forecast wasn’t good at all so we packed a lot of umbrellas and thick jumpers but besides a few drops it was really sunny. We started our second day with a walk to the Hotel de Ville, where we visited the Robert Doisneau exhibition. He made a lot of photographs during the years from Les Halles, it was a very nice exhibition.

My sister and I visited some shops in the area but didn’t buy anything. It was Saturday and the few vintage shops I walked in were extremely crowded. I wanted another poster but couldn’t find anything. Though I thought the Babar prints were pretty cute; never go somewhere else to see if they have a nicer one, they never have. In the evening we went to the restaurant Polidor, which appears in the movie Midnight in Paris! The first time I was in Paris with my family we visited this restaurant as well. Though it was totally quite at 7 p.m. back in the days. I think Woody Allen made it a lot more popular, probably not appreciated by everyone as the (60+) waitress was so grumpy my sister and I had to laugh every time she passed by.
